1. Who we are

The Be Your Own Coach platform is provided by Be Your Own Coach Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales (company number 16219752) whose registered office is at 13 Stockport Road, Marple, Stockport, SK6 6BD. In these terms "we" and "us" mean Be Your Own Coach Ltd.

2. Definitions

• "Platform" means the website, content, tools and services provided at beyourowncoach.com.
• "You" means the person using the Platform.
• "Your organisation" means the employer or other organisation that has arranged your access, if you did not arrange it yourself.
• "Content" means everything provided through the Platform, including videos, text, graphics, tools and downloadable resources.

3. Accounts and access

• Accounts are created by us. There is no online sign-up: we set up your account once membership has been arranged, and email you a link to choose your password.
• The details we hold for you must be accurate. Tell us if they change.
• You are responsible for keeping your password confidential.
• Accounts are personal and must not be shared. We may end the access of an account that is shared.

4. Membership and payment

• Membership is arranged directly with us, by you or by your organisation. No payment is taken through the Platform.
• We agree the plan, the price and the length of the term with whoever is paying for the membership.
• Access runs for the agreed term. It ends when the term ends unless the membership is renewed.
• You can cancel at any time by contacting us. Access continues until the end of the period that has already been paid for.
• Payments are not refunded once a term has started, except where the law gives you the right to a refund.
• Prices may change at the end of a term. We will tell you before they do.

5. Use of content

• All Content is owned by or licensed to Be Your Own Coach Ltd.
• Content is for your own personal development. It must not be used commercially.
• Content must not be downloaded, copied or passed on unless we have said that it may be.
• An organisation may use Content internally to develop the people it has arranged access for.

6. Acceptable use

• The Platform must not be used unlawfully, abusively or in a way that disrupts it for others.
• You must not try to get around its security or access parts of it you have not been given access to.

7. Your personal information

Our privacy policy explains what information we hold about you, what we use it for, who we share it with and what your rights are.

8. Intellectual property

• All trade marks and logos on the Platform belong to Be Your Own Coach Ltd or its licensors.
• Nothing in these terms gives you any right to them without our written permission.

9. Suspension and termination

• We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms.
• Access to Content stops when an account or its membership ends.

10. Disclaimers and liability

• Content is provided for information and personal development. It is not professional, medical or psychological advice, and we do not guarantee any particular result.
• We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
• Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that the law does not allow us to limit.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by English law, and disputes will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the Platform after a change means you accept it.
