A Conversation on Aging:
Working With Baby Boomers
November 1-2, 2017, Arlington, VA
This workshop will give you the opportunity to explore what aging means to you through dialogue, poetry, and small group exercises. You will participate in a process designed to clarify your intentions for your next chapter. Your personal learning from this experience can be applied to working with baby boomers. We will explore the significant topics that typically emerge as people age, such as relevancy, connectedness, contribution, creativity, vibrancy, and spirituality. Growing older is an experience rich in contrasts including joy and despair, optimism and pessimism, letting go and holding on. You will have the opportunity to reflect on and engage with these tensions within yourself.
